YOKUCHI GEN NANO C is a highly concentrated liquid carbon fertiliser in a compact 30ml format. A single bottle treats up to 3,300 litres of aquarium water. Despite its highly concentrated composition, it is quickly and easily absorbed by all aquatic plants.
Carbon is the fundamental building block of plant tissue, making up over 40% of plant dry mass — making it the single most important macroelement. In aquariums, carbon resources are naturally limited. In strongly lit, heavily planted tanks, natural CO₂ levels can drop to near-zero. Without supplementation, this causes slowed growth, complete growth arrest, and the proliferation of algae.
Why a Fully Saturated Concentrate?
An unsaturated liquid needs to dissolve before it can be absorbed. A fully saturated solution cannot absorb any more water — meaning every drop of YOKUCHI GEN NANO C saturates the entire water volume immediately upon dosing. Plants absorb CO₂ through their leaves, not their roots.

Dosing Instructions
1 drop per 5 litres of water per day. Dose near the filter outlet for optimal distribution. For heavily planted aquariums, increase the dose proportionally to plant density.

Low-tech planted aquariums without CO₂ injection, and high-tech setups where liquid carbon supplements pressurised CO₂ for enhanced results. Effective in tanks of any size.
