YOKUCHI GEN FE IRON 400ml is a highly concentrated liquid iron fertiliser in a large cylinder format with integrated dispenser. A single bottle provides the essential element for up to 40,000 litres of aquarium water — in a 100-litre planted aquarium, one bottle lasts over 400 days.

Iron is classified as a microelement and is absorbed by plants as the Fe²⁺ ion. It is essential for chlorophyll synthesis, forms part of key proteins, and participates in cellular respiration. As an intermediate-mobility element, deficiency symptoms appear first on young leaves before progressing to older growth.

Dosing Instructions

1 click per 100 litres of water per day. Dose near the filter outlet for optimal distribution. For heavily planted aquariums, increase the dose proportionally to plant density.
