Tap water quality does not always allow for direct use in aquariums. Active chlorine compounds used in municipal water treatment can negatively affect the health of aquarium inhabitants even in small amounts. Heavy metals present an equally serious risk: even at low concentrations, they disrupt neurotransmitter secretion and alter the behaviour of aquatic fauna. GEDOKU addresses both threats simultaneously, in a single dose.

How quickly does GEDOKU work?
GEDOKU works instantly upon contact with water. There is no waiting period — you can add treated water to your aquarium immediately after dosing.

Can I overdose GEDOKU?
GEDOKU is safe at the recommended dose of 1 click per 10 litres. Occasional minor overdosing is not harmful, but consistent overdosing is unnecessary and wasteful. Always dose based on the volume of new water being added, not the total tank volume.

Does GEDOKU affect pH or hardness?
No. GEDOKU is designed solely to neutralise chlorine, chloramines and heavy metals. It does not alter pH, GH or KH, making it compatible with all water chemistry setups including soft-water Caridina tanks.
